About the Linden Fund
We strive for sustainable and meaningful impact in the areas of education, health and business activity.
Who We Are
The Linden Fund, which was founded in 1999, was envisioned as an umbrella organization that mobilizes the overseas diaspora and resident Linden community in the economic and social redevelopment of the town of Linden, Guyana. The Linden Fund USA (LFU) was launched in 1999 in the state of New York. LFU maintains the Linden Fund Office in Guyana. The Linden Fund Canada (LFC), which is officially registered as the Linden Community Education Centre, came into being some years later. Both the LFU and LFC share the common goal of Linden’s redevelopment but each entity operates independently as it relates to compliance with the appropriate charitable and other requirements of its respective country.
