Linden Fund USA is a registered charitable 501(c)(3) non-profit organization made up of volunteer members. Since its formation in 1999, LFU has engaged and garnered support in the Diaspora to fund a wide range of initiatives that benefit the local residents of Linden and Region 10.

Linden Fund USA is a membership-based organization and connects with Lindeners in the Diaspora through fundraising activities in the U.S. The LFU Guyana Inc. office in Linden serves as the hub for our charitable initiatives. Local staff engage with stakeholders to identify and respond to the needs of the community.

Yes. Linden Fund USA is a 501(c)(3) organization and your donation is deductible to the full extent allowable under IRS regulations.

Yes. If you live outside the U.S. and make donations online, you will be charged in U.S. dollars. In Guyana, you can donate in person using local currency to our LFU Guyana Inc. office in Linden.

If you make a financial contribution online or in-person, an end-of-year tax letter is typically available in late January of the new year. Some in-kind contributions may be assigned a monetary value and aggregated in the end-of-year tax letter.

Yes. Donors may target specific initiatives in the local community when making a contribution. Donors may also suggest initiatives they wish to fund and be administered by Linden Fund USA, at a negotiated management fee.

Linden Fund USA pursues grant-making institutions like foundations, international service organizations, government agencies and other philanthropic groups, including corporations and small businesses.
