Thanking Joan Casey for her LFU Board Service

We say a hearty “Thank You” to our own Joan Casey, Ph.D., who has faithfully served as a member of the LFU Board of Directors for the past eight years. A lifelong educator, Joan has been a key part of LFU’s education mission, co-facilitating our annual Teachers Workshop in Linden, Region 10. In 2019, Joan served as the co-chair of LFU’s 20th Anniversary Gala. As the former Chair of the NY Chapter, she led LFU’s Senior Citizens initiative that was launched at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, providing vitally needed face masks, hot meals and essential personal care products to more than 150 elderly residents each year. As head of LFU’s board-level Membership Committee, she helped to vision and chart a course for engaging and retaining our members. Thank you, Joan, for your impactful and selfless Board service and for your ongoing commitment to LFU! #GivingBack #CommunitySpirit
Welcome New LFU Board Member Samuel Sampson

Samuel “Sammy” Sampson, longtime member and supporter of Linden Fund USA, has joined the LFU Board of Directors, and will fill the unexpired term of our recent colleague, Michael Campbell. Sammy’s addition is a step towards rebuilding to full Board capacity so that we can continue our mission of service to Linden and Region 10. An independent entrepreneur in Brooklyn, Sammy is an experienced financial services representative with over 30 years of experience in the industry. He’s already used his considerable experience as a member of the Board-level Finance Committee managed by the Treasurer, and his expertise will continue to be of value to LFU. Welcome and thank you for your commitment to serve on the LFU Board. #Leadership #VolunteerService
